Tokyo Part 3 - Inside the Castle

One of the coolest things at Tokyo Disneyland is the Castle. Not only is it the cool on the outside, but it has a really cool thing inside too.

In Anaheim you can go up some stairs and walk through the castle looking at little window displays of the story of Sleeping Beauty. It's like that, but cooler and has more stuff.

These pictures were taken with my iphone, so the quality isn't great.
This is the foyer where you wait for your turn.

A knight's armor.
The elevator up to the second floor.
When you get up into the castle, it has pictures from the movie with quotes.
 Tall panels.
 Very well done.
Looking out a stained glass window.
There were four panels on this wall.

They had little miniature scenes built out of various mediums.
This one had a turn table and the ribbons were spinning and it looking like the birds were flying them around.

This one was made of paper. It was amazing. The perspective and everything was perfect.

This one was magnetized, I think, and the they were spinning to music.
 More panels.
The lighting wasn't great, but it says "and they lived happily every after."

Then there was a small ballroom with a high ceiling.
The glass slipper.

You could sit in her throne.

Daniel liked the dog and the horse.
Then you walked out through this hallway.

And then outside.
 Looking up the castle walls.
A balcony you couldn't really explore.
The castle really was amazing.
 One of the turrets.

Looking out over fantasy land.

It was pretty cool. And Cinderella is my favorite princess. So I guess I'm a little biased.

Up next: The Tokyo Temple.
