2nd attempt

These babies are my second attempt at a pepto like result. They smell awful. Had to take 5 of them.

These came with directions in English, the others didn't even have any English on them.

Directions:
[shape & properties] This product is a dark brown water-honey pill with a particular odour. (odour is right!)
[dosage] adults: 5-6 pills; children 2-3 pills
[adverse reactions] not yet known. (not yet? how long has this stuff been on the market!)
[precautions] Take light diet. Avoid hot and spicy, cold or greasy food. Avoid smoking and alcohol.
(it's very hard to eat food in China that is not hot, spicy, cold or especially greasy. The don't sell oil in containers smaller than half gallon.)
Do not take Chinese medicines which are invigorants during treatment with the PILLS.
DO NOT USE this product for patients who are allergic to it. (how are we supposed to know this one?)
DO NOT USE this product when its appearance such as color, smell, etc. has changed.(Who would know what it's not supposed to smell like - it smells awful to begin with!)

That's only part of it. Makes you want to try it, huh! We have it on good authority that this works.
