Pantry Tragedy..
I am sorry to report that 5 quarts of pickles died this week when their seal was found to be broken. There was considerable wailing and gnashing of teeth and a few tears shed while burying them in the garbage can.

That really IS a tragedy!! I love pickles, I would be so sad too! Canning is a lot of work...which is why I never do it. But I just wanted you to know that I'm sorry for your loss :)

ReplyDeleteHow did you know the seal was broken? They don't look rotten. I am so clueless I wouldn't have noticed until I went to eat them. Sorry for your loss.
